Sinclair Verde Lamp Company — Google Coursera Final Project
In this project, I worked as an entry-level digital marketer for a fictional marketing agency supporting the Sinclair Verde Lamp Company. The project simulates real-world responsibilities across strategy, keyword research, budgeting, and performance reporting, showcasing skills developed throughout the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate.
Step 1: Strategy & Internal Proposal
I created an internal marketing proposal for the Sinclair Verde Lamp Company focused on increasing brand awareness among adults ages 42–57. Using provided audience data, budget considerations, and timeline constraints, I evaluated brand awareness strategies and outlined a content approach to support the campaign.
Step 2: Keyword Selection & Budgeting
I conducted keyword research for a paid search campaign by evaluating predicted impressions, click-through rate, cost per click, and total cost. Using these metrics, I selected and adjusted keywords to maximize clicks while staying within a $1,000 monthly budget. This process required balancing performance potential with cost efficiency to drive traffic to the Sinclair Verde Lamp Company website.
Step 3: Performance Reporting & Insights
I built a presentation to report on campaign goals and performance using website and social media data. The presentation compared yearly and holiday season metrics and summarized key trends to help inform future marketing decisions.
In this project, I reviewed social media post performance for a mock campaign to compare impressions and engagement. The analysis showed that content choices like imagery, tone, and hashtags played a key role in driving engagement.
